Christmas Party.

To make things easier, I am going to list the two options available for us this Christmas.

1. Christmas party at somebody's place.

Pros:

We can save the money for the party venue
Convenient
Clean
Accessible cos the person would most probably live at a place in our area which is near to most of our house.

Cons:

Cannot make too much noise
Cannot play till too late and too crazy
Somebody has to offer their house and tolerate our noises lol.

2. Post Christmas party at class chalet.

Pros:

Free and easy, everyone.
Nobody really cares if you're talking too loudly
Overnight if you would like to.

Cons:

Everyone has to pay a bit to cover cost of food and venue
Those not staying overnight may have to leave earlier to catch the last bus/train.

(Cost will mostly likely range from $10- $12. To be confirmed!)

On a side note, the theme is CRAZY HATS! Not something as fancy as the picture on the right but just a hat that is totally YOU!! Anything except a normal cap or the Santa hat. Its suppose to be CRAZY as the name implies. :)

A gift is also required for gift exchange! Anything that is sincere but i think $8 is an acceptable range la. But its still the thoughts that count! :)

And whether you choose option 1 or option 2 (post party at the chalet), the class chalet is still on!

All in all right, as you can see on the pictures, Aston was great. The company was nice and was the food. For more info you can go check out the photo album ya!

Thank you to everyone who took time off to come for the gathering and hope you had an enjoyable day! Its been quite some time since we all met and hope everyone had fun catching up! As for those we could not make it, hope to see you in the next gathering! :)

As you can see, facebook is the current in thing now. Anw, everyone has been really tight up but their schedules this year that I think this reunion will do us good! We can have a good time chatting and meeting up the other alumni of HS. Hope the response will be a positive one k ppl! If you're feeling broke, you can start saving from today for one week. I did a calculation as follow:

$24 x 10 = $240
Suppose we receive a 10% discount as stated, $240 x 0.9 = $216
$216 / 10 = $21.60 per pax
So if you save for 1 week, it'll be...
$21.60/7 is approximately $3.10 per day!
C'mon people, its about sacrficing half a mac meal each day!

Unfortunately this year, many had school activity, exam or something on so they were unable to make their way down to HS this year. But guess who made it down had a good chat with Miss Wong, updating her about their happenings in their lives. The guys were kinda having fun telling Miss Wong some nonsensical stuff. What drop outs la, quit school, blablabla. HAHA ok, managed to snap some pictures that day!

According to Miss Wong, all the news abt her leaving HS thats been going around have been proven to be RUMOURS! As long as nothing is confirmed, Miss Wong is still in HS and will still be around. 4E2 met on 20th July at the Hong Kong cafe! It was a great time of gathering for all bcos everyone had been really busy with school. Projects, exams, assignments, and the list is never ending! Despite all these, many turned up that day which was really nice(: Everyone sure had a good time catching up !

And at night, it was a REUNION dinner for some of us! The ex 4e2 got back together since wanlin initiated it and we all got together to catch up with one another! This is where the JCs and the POLYs met. And I can't believe the guys will be reporting for army next year already!

And I think our class contributed to like 60% of the noise and 40% of the seats. HONGKONG cafe should love us because we give them GOOD business! HEHEH.

And once again, I managed to eat my MANGO dessert! The last time I had this was with qing and karmun. How I miss those times! But still, I had it last night AND, we played a very interesting game called SHOOT, SHAG, MARRY. OHGOSH.

And although sometimes I dont say it, I MISS 4e2, I miss the nasi padang, I miss miss wong's lessons, I miss mrs lee's lessons, I miss mr lam's lessons, I miss going to school early, I miss walking around school, I miss having camps there, I miss lepaking with the rest. I miss a whole lot of things. (like how dear violet shared her wonderful sec four story during presentation today)

新传媒新闻报道，从明年起，新加坡中学的特别和快捷源流将合并，并统称为"快捷源流" 。教育部表示，随着越来越多快捷班的学生，也同特别班的同学一样，有能力和机会选修高级母语，区分两个源流，没有实际意义。

过去，只有在小六会考中，成绩最优秀的10%，有机会到特选中学，修读高级母语。这批优等生，被纳入了特别源流。但是随着条例逐年放宽，越来越多来自快捷源流的学生，也开始选修高级母语。人数从1995年的862人，上升到今年的4466人，占选修高级母语总人数的49%。除了10所特选中学，本地有43所中学，也设有高级母语课程。受访学校表示，特别源流的称号，已经失去了它的实质意义。

后港中学校长谢俊杰表示，"这个名称到这个时候，换与不换，已经没有什么分别了。看今年的那个人数，特别班的学生，修读高级华文，是比我们的快捷班的还来得少。"

立化中学副校长蔡嘉(日升)也表示，"对于我校立化中学的学生的影响，我觉得并不大。我们会保持我们一贯的课程，给学生们提供良好素质的学习环境，而且会保持我们特选中学的身份，继续地提倡高级华文、中华文化和历史。"

随着特别和快捷源流的合并，校方在设定课程内容时，也将能更灵活。

When u go sch at 7am till 6pm, reach home 1 hour later which is 7pm, put your heavy bag down on the floor, immediately rushes to sit at your computer desk, u had stand throughout the 1 hour journey,
because the bus/mrt home was at peak hour, super exhausted and tired, sit down relax and think about the oncoming projects and tests, suddenly realised only 3 days left to work, on the computer and rushes to work,
but then again, felt lazy and wanted to reward yourself with 1 hour of games or free time, let me ask you, who will ever think of this forum where there is no one, no message, no games, no humor, no fun, when they are at the ultimate busiest time,
who will ever anticipate to come here, feeling excited, happy when stress and tired, come to chat at this lonely, deserted, desolated, uncultivated and unproductive place?
